Alopecia
Hair loss from the scalp or any other area of the body where hair typically develops is referred to as alopecia. Hair thinning, patchy baldness (Alopecia Areata), or total hair loss (Alopecia Totalis/Universalis) are some of its manifestations. In addition to its aesthetic value, hair is essential for scalp protection and thermal equilibrium. Ayurveda provides a comprehensive approach by treating the underlying cause of alopecia through internal and external therapies, whereas modern medicine uses topical treatments, corticosteroids, and immunotherapy
